“Just a perfect Day”

Transfer explores space and volume, but volume of the most volatile kind: air. The work is rooted in the experience of clever housewives who take in, expel and rearrange large quantities of air while hoovering. Air is everywhere around us and in us, the counterpart to the visible world. With the aid of hoovers, the air volume of the Dacha, as the little garden house on the Weier is called, is transferred into a transparent casing and then out again. This casing is a dacha imprint, a dacha smell, a dacha memory.
